Now Offering Bilingual Kindergarten! We believe in music and laughter as the most effective ways for children to learn and grow, especially when learning another language. All classes are designed to provide children with plenty of music, movement and fun.
Our approach to teaching Spanish mimics native language acquisition — children have fun interacting with other children while creating arts and crafts, working on learning centers, enjoying our puppet shows, and singing along with their teachers in class! In our parent participation classes, parents have also learned Spanish along with their children. By simply being immersed in the language and consistently listening, talking, learning, exploring, playing, singing and having lots of fun in Spanish, it has resulted in a rapid language learning program that children love.
We provide a warm and safe environment, where children love learning Spanish and feel comfortable using it. Would you like to know about our upcoming events?

Classes meet once a week for 2 hours from pm to pm. We offer after-school classes for children aged 4 to 12 years old. Groups are small, between 2 and 5 students. Our method We believe that the best way for a child to learn a second language is through imitation and repetition. The purpose of the program is to introduce the new language as if it were the native language.
Therefore, classes are fully conducted in the target language. Learning a new language should be a fun experience. That is why we created a curriculum that engages children through music, movements, drawing, role play, and story time. Each week, our theme will guide our activities. Our after-school program is an active, hands-on learning environment, where all students can join in the fun, regardless of their level of Spanish. Because it is an immersion class, our teachers dramatize and "act out" what they are saying, and use visual materials as cues. This helps ensure that students understand without translating.
Students may enroll for one or two classes per week. Each week has a theme and the two class days will have different activities based on the same theme.
Students who attend both days will have extra reinforcement and practice without direct repetition. Each theme include common vocabulary, verbs, and phrases.
Conversation and whole language are emphasized!
Class activities include reading stories, acting out plays, participating in games and contests, singing Spanish songs, and more. A smaller, but important, portion of the class is based on reading and writing workbook exercises. If a student attends one day per week, the option to attend a make-up class on an alternate day may be possible, provided there is space in the class.
If the student attends two days per week, unfortunately, there is no way to make up missed classes. If class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up day will be offered. We are fortunate to live in a state where there are many opportunities for exposure to the Spanish language. Look for Spanish story times and activities at local libraries, try children's programming on Spanish television networks, attend cultural events in the community, or explore the wide variety of Spanish learning websites and apps.
